Antonick is a contemporary choreographer whose movement reflects a digestion of dance forms from American, European and Indonesian roots. Her work emphasizes the creation of worlds the audience can enter, disrupting ingrained patterns of attention and reawakening the viewer to a language of somatically informed kinetics. She co-directs Khecari along with Jonathan Meyer and has been awarded residencies at Djerassi, Ragdale, Hambidge, Links Hall, The Chicago Cultural Center, Centrum, and 6018|North, was chosen for NEFA’s Regional Dance Development Initiative, presented at The Dance Center of Columbia College, and has been listed as one of NewCity’s best choreographers.
