Somatically driven, Jonathan Meyer builds odd movements and strange lands to delight, baffle, and usher epiphany. A gymnast in high school, Meyer began dancing at Oberlin College, undertook a capoeira immersion in Brazil, and graduated in dance from UNC Greensboro. Meyer has danced for The High Risk Group, Asimina Chremos, and The Seldoms. Meyer has also worked with at-risk youth in wilderness therapy programs in Utah teaching primitive skills, and is a Certified Practitioner of Body-Mind Centering®. Meyer founded Khecari in 2002 and in 2007 began his collaboration and partnership with Julia Rae Antonick, with whom he runs the company.
