Performances:

Emily Carroccio (she/her) is a rising senior at Loyola University Chicago where she is pursuing her degree in dance in addition to a degree in biology with a molecular emphasis. Before moving to Chicago, she lived and danced in the suburbs of Cleveland. In college, Emily has been fortunate to perform in restagings of works by Doris Humphrey and Anna Sokolow, as well as student choreography at the Loyola University Museum of Art and the Undergraduate Research Symposium. This fall she will be expanding upon an original dancework which will be shown as part of the mainstage dance concert at Loyola. Emily is fascinated by the rich experience that is embodiment, which she strives to explore in her movement practice. She is excited to get involved and support the Chicago dance community this summer through her internship.
