Catherine Voigt began working with Chicago Dancemakers Forum in 2019. From identifying new funding opportunities to submitting proposals for exciting new initiatives, she enjoys supporting the growth and development of CDF and the Chicago dance community.
After beginning her career as an attorney, Catherine has been a freelance grantwriter since 2010. Her clients have included nonprofit organizations of many different sizes – with budgets of $150,000 to several million – and missions – from health and housing to education and the arts.
Catherine has an English degree from the University of Illinois and a law degree from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. In addition to serving as treasurer for the West Suburban Philanthropic Network, she is a member of the board of directors for the Glen Ellyn Children’s Resource Center.
