Performances:

Catherine Eng (she/her) is an inter-mediary artist whose love of performance has led her to work every job she can find in and around it. Originally from Chicago, she grew up studying ballet and Horton while also laying marley, building sets, and sewing costumes. She graduated from Sarah Lawrence with her bachelor’s after concentrating primarily in Media Studies and Performance, augmenting her interest in choreographing with post-cyber-feminist theory and experimental theater. Since then, she’s worked as a free-lance dancer and collaborator, a choreographer, video editor, and digital dance start-up administrator. Her desire to continually support dance communities led Catherine to work as a production intern at Movement Research in NYC, where she regularly facilitated weekly performances at Judson Memorial Church. She’s now looking forward to learning more about the funding side of things as a Development intern in the upcoming months.
