2021 DIGITAL DANCE GRANT

COLLABORATOR: Kenny Washington

Annie Franklin is a dance creative artist based out of Chicago, Illinois. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Western Michigan University and has 10 years of creative artistic experience. Franklin will be collaborating with cinematographer and editor, Kenny Washington, based in Los Angeles. Together, they will be conducting an online docu-series that incorporates the entire behind the scenes process of building and perfecting a dance screen production with dancers of Franklin’s newly founded company, Archangels, which is made up of six talented, innovative, and artistic women based in Chicago.
