Michelle Kranicke is the artistic director of Zephyr and co-director of SITE/less performance space. She has received a number of awards and commissions for her choreography and curatorial practice from institutions including, Djerassi Artist Ranch, Yaddo, Defibrillator Gallery, Links Hall, and the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events. She has been named one of Chicago’s Top 5 Choreographers and one of the “50 People Who Really Perform for Chicago” by New City. She has performed nationally and internationally, and her writing has been published by the Journal of Dance Education and Bridge, NFP.
