GREENHOUSE ARTIST 2019

Marceia values writing, performance, and storytelling highly driven by her inquiry in women/gender studies and rooted in high energy movement practice. Marceia has performed works not limited to Dardi McGinely Gallivan, Winifred Haun & Dancers, DuBois A’Keen, and Thomas DeFrantz. Her creative work has been presented at RAD Fest (Kalamazoo, MI), Old Town School of Folk Music, La Femme Dance Festival, Links Hall (Chicago), and The Edge Theatre (Chicago). Her work shifts between traditional and non-traditional performance spaces inviting text, high energy movement, sound, and installation to shift, exchange, and influence one another. Marceia is a 2019 Links Hall Co-Mission recipient and a 2020 Going Dutch Festival Commission Finalist.
